I have heard stories from some of you about trying to enjoy downtown WW this summer and having some problems with some of the youth hanging out. I have talked to the city and they reinforced to me the importance of calling police dispatch so they have a record of the situation whether it is the language or hanging out at Heritage Park so you can’t take your little kids there to the groping (I am not kidding) in front of businesses during peak shopping hours. To get more police presence they need to have a record of complaints. The number is 527-1960 also if you have any concern or ideas on how to handle some of the situations you can email Duane Cole, City Manager at dcole@ci.walla-walla.wa.us.
